Through the BOMA Awards, recognition is given for excellence in property management, operations, resource conservation, environmental awareness, leasing and building design, customer service and innovation.

BOMA takes great pride in recognizing these teams and individuals who, through their drive and determination, are constantly searching for and achieving excellence.
2012 Toby and Pinnacle Awards
The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards will salute the stars of the commercial real estate industry, recognizing excellence in property management, operations, resource conservation, environmental awareness, leasing and building design, customer service and innovation.
The Earth Award is BOMA recognition of excellence in resource preservation and environmentally sound commercial building management. The BOMA Earth Award is presented to a building that has made significant efforts to address environmental issues faced by both older and newer buildings.
The BOMA Pinnacle Awards recognize companies that represent a standard of excellence to which all BOMA members and their employees should aspire. The Pinnacle Awards recognize innovation, teamwork, outstanding service and commitment to clients.
The Shopping Centre Award is new for 2012 and recognizes excellence in property management for retail shopping centres in the Ottawa area that are made up of multiple tenants with their own on-site parking.
The Local Chapter Awards are awards designed to recognize the efforts of the contributions of members of BOMA Ottawa in either a volunteer capacity for the Association or in a professional capacity, but in categories that do not currently have a corresponding National Award.
The categories include the M. Patrick Gillin President’s Award, the Volunteer of the Year Award, and the Building Operator of the Year Award (NEW).
