The BOMA Ottawa Scholarship program was developed in 2004 to assist in the promotion of BOMI courses and to help students in need. The purpose of this program is to give students who would otherwise not be able to enroll in BOMI courses due to financial restrictions, an opportunity to participate in the program, with the ultimate goal of obtaining their designations. Open to all existing students within the BOMI programs, or to potential students interested in starting a career in real estate, scholarships are currently available and students who qualify are encouraged to apply.

2012 Scholarship Application Form
Adele Prazeres, Sandy Hill Community Health Centre
"First, let me once again thank the BOMA Ottawa Education Committee for making this Scholarship Funding available. As the first recipient of the scholarship, I must admit that some pressure exists. However, giving the format of the course and great instructors, I feel that my goal in achieving the RPA designation becomes more of a reality and remind myself that the opportunity of the scholarship will benefit my career. Without this scholarship, my education opportunities at the BOMI Institute level would be very difficult to achieve. Hopefully, my RPA designation will be in my hands at the end of 2007!
I do admit that when an instructor asks for an intro, the first thing I say is, 'I'm BOMA Ottawa's first scholarship recipient.'"
